Daguerreotype Tiffany

1. This image focuses on the theme daguerreotype. I stared by splitting the image in half.
2. Then I used the option "color fill" to create the background, I used a dark color reflecting the gloomy vibes of the daguerreotype style. I also decided to follow the same process using the lasso tool, highlighting Tiffany's face to create skin tone color. By using the brush took,  I added shadows, and then created a gradient that is harsher around the edges, to give Tiffany the "glow" look. The background layer blend mode was darken.
3. Then to create the "aged" effect I played around with the pre-set brushes. In the "special effects" folder I found a splatter brush to create a grainy look, making the photo look aged.
4. This is where I added 4 different types of adjustment layers. The "Color Filter" allowed me to focus on a black color, the "Channel Mixer" allowed me to readjust the lighting of the overall photo. "Vibrance" and "Color Balance" allowed me to play around with different tones of the photo and I was able to de-saturate the photo giving it more of the grainy aged look.
